The database allows users to conduct a more sophisticated search for authors, sources, and documents. Let’s look at “Search Texts - Advanced” below. This screen lets you search for source works – books, journal articles, and so on. It also allows you to conduct word and phrase searches in combination with bibliographic fields. For example, let’s search for all uses of the words girl* in writings by Elizabeth Cady Stanton between 1851 and 1854. (Click NEXT now.)
