Browsing by year gives you quick access to interviews that discuss events of a certain year. Pretend we're researching the Depression. We would click to select the timeframe "1936 - 1940" and the index would respond with a list of interviews that correspond, including interviews from the collection "Manuscripts from the Federal Writers Project." Let's move on to the Browse: Places tool, which is next to the right on the browsing toolbar. (Click Next)
