Andrea Eastman-Mullins is the Chief Operating Officer at Alexander Street Press. She has 20 years of experience publishing for learning and research. Working for Alexander Street Press, SIRS, Chadwyck-Healey, ProQuest, and the University of North Carolina, Andrea has held multiple roles in the development of more over 100 digital collections used in libraries worldwide. With a B.A. in philosophy and German from Hamilton College and an M.A. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Michigan, Andrea proves you can study Nietzsche and still find a job.
Vice President, Metadata Standards and Bibliographic Control
Pat has worked for indexing companies and corporate libraries for 35 years, including H.W. Wilson, J.P. Morgan, National Federation of Independent Business, Axelroth & Associates, The Washington Post, and Chadwyck-Healey. She started with Alexander Street Press in 2000 as VP of Production, and has since worked in operational planning and project management. Currently, she is reviewing the quality of our indexing, indexing systems, and controlled vocabularies, as well as directing the production and distribution of MARC records. Pat attended Clarion State University (PA) where she earned her B.S. Ed. and M.S.L.S. Free time is spent knitting and reading British and American history.
Vice President, Production
Jordan has worked in online publishing for eight years, with experience in production, editing, sales and product management. Armed with a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Georgetown University focused on European history and politics, he is a political and media junkie. Jordan spends his days watching and playing with videos in the largest collection of academic video available online and his nights writing music with his wife and a group of friends. Duane has more than 10 years’ experience with multi-media online publishing. Originally from South Africa, Duane moved to the U.S. from England in 2012 where he worked for online financial markets Analysis Company for 8 years. At Alexander Street Duane manages multiple in-house and external teams across multiple disciplines of Processing, Indexing and Cataloging across a number of music, video, and text products. Duane attended the University of Pretoria where he studied fine arts and graphic design before moving to London. Now living in Northern Virginia Duane can be found spending his free time with family and his pair of misbehaving Brittany sporting dogs, Nina and Olive, also an active player and club officer at a local sporting club spending most of his Saturday’s trying to keep the ball from his opponents and running rings around them, usually with very limited success.
