Director, Marketing Operations
Kelly began her marketing career at two dot-coms in New York City at the height of the Internet bubble. She recalls one over-the-top office holiday party at Studio 54 where the bartenders were dressed as oompa-loompas. After receiving her MBA from Wake Forest University, Kelly returned to her native Northern Virginia and spent five years developing a content marketing program for a financial services trade association.
In her role at Alexander Street, she oversees product marketing and marketing services, as well as lead generation for the US region. She’s most passionate about marketing projects that explore and advance the intersection of technology, progress, and customer needs. In her spare time (and when she’s not reading to her two kids), she’s reading all manner of fiction.
Manager, Digital Marketing
Joe hails from Folsom, New Jersey with a B.A. in History and a minor in Music from Rowan University. Ever since his introduction to the internet in fifth grade, via 56k modem, the ever expanding field of technology and the changing trends of the internet have held his interest. When not staring at google analytics or retweeting his favorite libraries, he enjoys camping, road trips, double bacon cheeseburgers, and farming.
Product Marketing Manager
Lauren has spent her entire career focused on education marketing. She previously worked at The Chronicle of Higher Education, where she did member acquisition and engagement for Vitae, an online community for higher education academics and professionals.
After growing up in Maine, Lauren attended Hollins University in Roanoke, VA, where she graduated with a B.A. in English and Creative Writing. She now lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband and two dogs, Bella and Bodhi. She enjoys snowboarding, CrossFit, and is learning to play the ukulele.
Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Streaming Video
Kathleen is the Sr. Product Marketing Manager for Streaming Video at Alexander Street. In this role, she is responsible for marketing our key video products.
Kathleen’s experience is in higher education publishing where she spent her time in marketing, sales and most recently market development, with a strong emphasis on the economics discipline. She loves getting to know customers and communicating with them about solutions to make their classrooms more dynamic and research more complete.
Kathleen has a Marketing degree from the University of Texas-Arlington. She’s excited to continue her career in education and see the results Alexander Street can provide professors, students and librarians. In her spare time (what’s that?), Kathleen is busy with her 13 year old daughter, cheering on her husband on mountain/road bike excursions, and teaching Jazzercise. Not sure what a jazz square is? Event Marketing Manager
Gina has rejoined our team after three years, and she is happy to be back! She began her career in planning meetings, conferences, trade shows, and events in Italy. She has spent the last three years in beautiful Guam where she was in charge of the sponsorship and advertising program for a government entity. She also successfully managed planning events, including venue research, volunteer research, and contract negotiations.
Gina has a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland. She enjoys running, scuba diving, and traveling with her husband and three boys.
Paul started his career managing an in-house print shop, handling everything from pasting up galleys (we're talking pre-digital), to bindery. He later changed his path, designing and executing frames for the NYC art scene up to the market's collapse. Using his acquired skills, Paul found his place as a graphic designer in the book publishing industry. He then established and ran the design department at Insight Media, whose acquisition ultimately brought him to Alexander Street where he now works on diverse design projects at including printed collateral, convention displays, and email blasts.
