Alexander Street Press Customer Appreciation Breakfast There are some things you can always count on at
an Alexander Street breakfast: a mouth-watering menu, hundreds of
trendsetting librarians, and an iconic guest speaker. Join us on Sunday, January 25th, at 7:30 am for what will again be the buzz-generating event of the conference! Seats are already starting to fill up, so be sure to RSVP now and mark your calendars. Our guest speaker in Denver is the Pulitzer Prize-winner Art Spiegelman. Best known for his graphic novel memoir Maus, Spiegelman boasts an impressive resume that includes pivotal roles in the underground comics movement, sensational art for The New Yorker, children’s publishing, and advocacy for the medium of comics.
Alexander Street Press Roundtable Sessions
Our roundtable sessions offer librarians a unique chance to get up close and personal with Alexander Street editors and key decision makers. We'll have food—breakfast or a winter snack (depending on the time of your roundtable)—a fireplace, and editors anxious to get your input and advice. Roundtables are organized around specific products or disciplines, and space is limited so RSVP now. In exchange for your time and the benefit of your expert opinion, we will also give you the opportunity to win a one-year subscription—and with just 20 attendees per session, the odds aren't bad!
Alexander Street Press Exhibit Booths If you are unable to attend any of the events above, we'd love to see you in the exhibit hall. Stop by to learn more about our newest collections, and learn how to get free access to all Alexander Street Press resources. Live demonstrations will take place in booth #1924 and a schedule will be posted here soon. You can also find Alexander Street in the Comics Pavilion in booth #1153. Be among the first to learn about our brand new collections of comics, graphic novels, early comic strips, and more. Our first collection, Underground and Independent Comics, Comix, and Graphic Novels will be available later in 2009. Stop by the booth for more details.
